About Reiki
Every item on this site is charged with Reiki energy, but what is Reiki energy? To put it simply, Reiki is a Japanese energy healing modality that involves the manipulation of universal lifeforce energy for the highest good of the recipient. If you've ever walked into a room and you've felt that you had to get out because it was so uncomfortable, or the exact opposite--it felt very welcoming and a place you'd like to stay--you're picking up on energy.
Energy cannot be destroyed, but it can be manipulated to a higher frequency which can promote feelings of relaxation, stress release, and healing. Reiki is a Japanese technique to do just that. It is not affiliated with any religion and cannot be used negatively--it will only work for your highest good.
Reiki practitioners must go through levels of training to achieve the rank of Master. There are several varieties of Reiki; Usui, Kundalini, Holy Fire, etc. They all seek to work with energy for the highest good of others.
Reiki is used in over 800 hospitals (15%) in the United States as of a 2023 study. In addition, more than 60 U.S. hospitals have adopted Reiki as part of their patient services programs. The onset of Covid has dramatically increased the numbers of people seeking alternative healing around the world.
Since Reiki is energy healing, it does not require physical touch and can be performed from a distance and have the exact same effect as if performed in person. In addition, it can be used to infuse objects with positive energy and to enhance the energy already present in those objects. This is especially valuable when working with crystals and stones.
Everyone is sensitive to energy whether they consciously realize it or not, and Reiki is a wonderful way to give us an energy "tune-up" and to cleanse and remove any unwanted negative energies that we may carry with us in our day to day lives.
